Dont cut it.

And you cant make it thick if you have thin hair.

How to grow long and thick hair?

You can't artificially thicken your hair, I've had thin, wavy hair forever ( now receding) and no matter what I've tried it's never gotten any thicker. It is long though, below collar length but because of how thin it is, I've never been able to grow it much longer.

How to grow long and thick hair?

you can have a nice long hair if you eat much fruits and vegetables , then you can make something to help it growing nice

there something you can do once a week .

get an empty small bottle of eye drops or something like it

fill it up with olive oil (that you use for cooking)

but the small bottle in hot water for about 10 minutes just to warm the oil up and then get a comb and start making lines and put the oil drops, after you are finished putting the warm olive oil , massage your scalp with your fingers, then cover your hair with a plastic cover, for about 2 hours .then wash it with warm water first and use your normal shampoo.

notice: don't wash your hair with hot water ever just use a bit warm water.

How to grow long and thick hair?

Get bitten by a werewolf.

How to grow long and thick hair?

grow it but get layers cut into it to but make sure they dont take too much length off

How to grow long and thick hair?

its silly to say dont cut the hair as this makes hair more nurished and will grow better and heathier hair needs cutting even if its the most smallest bit.

if you stop cutting it your will go dry and brittle will start snapping off any way so a small trim every 3/4 months latest and it will grow strong and healthy

How do you make extremely thick hair thinner permenently?

you ask your hair dresser to thin it out using layers. it thins your hair out alot!

How do you make extremely thick hair thinner permenently?

Pull some of your hair out. I know if you mess around with some chemicals some of your hair will fall out. I don't think you can do it permanently but if you go to your hairstylist or barbershop they can thin it out.

Lots of stress and depression medications. Honestly though, I don't know of any other way but to have your hairdresser to use thinning shears for your cuts.

How do you make extremely thick hair thinner permenently?

ok, get a bucket and fill it with bleach and amonia, bend over however you have to to get your hair in and let it barely touch your scalp. You get fast results!!

How do you make extremely thick hair thinner permenently?

Have your hairstylist use the razor scissors on your hair everytime you go. I saw a women get it done the other day at the solon and her hair looked totally different.

How do you make extremely thick hair thinner permenently?

I don't know of a permanent way to make your hair thinner without causing damage to your scalp, but you can purchase a "thinning shear". It looks like a regular scissor but one side will be notched and one will have the blade so that when you clamp down on your hair it doesn't get completelycut off. Just don't use it to close to the scalp.

I have natural straight, thick hair. i want curls!?

how can i get it curly without an iron or putting a lot of gell in it? oh yea and getting a perm is NOT an option

Enjoy

I have natural straight, thick hair. i want curls!?

There is a shampoo you can buy that adds curls. But trust me if you had curly hair you would want straight hair. All the things people do to their hair damages it, whether it is a perm, coloring, curling iron, even putting it in a pony tail is hard on it. Then in the later years they are like I wish my hair was in better condition.

I have natural straight, thick hair. i want curls!?

well i have wavy hair so i think if you were to put on hott curls and spary them with hairspry it really work

I have natural straight, thick hair. i want curls!?

why don't u accept for who u are....

I have natural straight, thick hair. i want curls!?

curl it wile blow drying it

or

put rag curlers in it and sleep on them

I have natural straight, thick hair. i want curls!?

Go to saloon then maybe someone will help to curl your hair...

How can i get thick hair and fix my split ends?

Blow dry your hair upside for thicker hair with volume. And get your hair trimmed every six weeks to keep off split ends.

How can i get thick hair and fix my split ends?

Beer makes your hair thicker.

Split ends: need to be cut or they will get worse!

How can i get thick hair and fix my split ends?

keep it shampooed and condition

How can i get thick hair and fix my split ends?

Have a trim to get rid of split end and get it layered to make it look thicker and healthier.

How can i get thick hair and fix my split ends?

Go to the hair salon and talk to someone there. All of those bottles of hair stuff they sell is for those reasons. If you don't want to ask just go and read the bottles they say what they are for right on the bottle.

How can i get thick hair and fix my split ends?

Get horse shampoo, it works wonders.

How can i get thick hair and fix my split ends?

Thick hair is by genetics, trust me I know I have frog fur for hair. However, you are in luck. There are alot of products ou there. My fave is the Body Full line by Redken. In this line there is a root lifter and a serum called Plump Treat that is Awesome. And for the split ends get a trim. Split ends are unable to be repaired. Prevent them by getting a trim every 6-8 weeks at least

How can i get thick hair and fix my split ends?

Change your Genes. Limit the use of blow drying and curling and if you must, make sure your using a product that will help to protect your hair from the heat. Washing your hair too much can actually damage it as well. Its recommended to not wash your hair everyday because your washing your hairs natural nutrients which protect it and keep it shiny. Your hair needs a chance to restore its PH balance. ALSO if you wash your hair in cold water it can help prevent split ends the fall back to that is it sucks taking a cold shower. Highlight can also add dimension giving the appearance of thicker hair but as you probably already now highlighting can damage your hair. I'm in the same boat as you. I have fine fragile hair it sucks.

How can i get thick hair and fix my split ends?

First of all a trip to a salon is needed to get rid of your split ends as well as finding a product that will help prevent it in the future. I use a leave in conditioner and trim my hair every 12 weeks. As for the thick hair thing, I believe the texture hair you were born with you will die with. That's not to say there is nothing you can do to make your APPEAR thicker. You can even get a hairstyle that'll give you the illusion of thicker hair. So, again a trip to the salon will definatley help out and I'm not talking about supercuts around the corner. Go to an actual hair salon, atleast once. The stylist will even give you tips about what you can do to prolong your next visit and save you money. You should be able to find a good one for about $30-50 for a cut/style.

How can i get thick hair and fix my split ends?

to get rid of split ends, trimming really works! just go to the nearest salon and ask the folks there to trim and inch or half an inch of your hair. that shOuld do it! for thick hair, don't use brush toO much and use shapOos that have thickening agents. that should help!

How can i get thick hair and fix my split ends?

Do hot oil treatments--rub coconut oil into your head at night--cut your split ends--you can't really fix them-but after you cut the ends--keep them conditioned--in the summer, wear your hair in a pony tail or braid to minimize sun exposure anddamage--wear it out only for special occasions...

I'm thinking about getting it chemically straightened, but I don't know if that will help.

I have long thick hair, but I would like it to be thin and flowing. It's bushy and dumb. Any suggestions?

Honestly? Learn to love your thick hair. If it doesn't grow that way on it's own, you'll never get it to a point where you're happy with it looking "thin and flowing" because your hair just won't do it. Chemically straightening hair (along with perming, bleaching, and dying) do a LOT of damage to hair. It gets dry and brittle and many times takes on a texture similar to straw. A good stylist can give you a cut that will help it hang and move better, but if you hair grows thick (especially if it's curly, too) it's really just a waste of time, energy, and money to try to get it to look like you've got straight, fine hair.

I have long thick hair, but I would like it to be thin and flowing. It's bushy and dumb. Any suggestions?

u may very well straighten ur hair, i thnk u look preety cool in tht hairstyle

I have long thick hair, but I would like it to be thin and flowing. It's bushy and dumb. Any suggestions?

Bleach the hell out of it. Then redye it your normal color.

Repeat as necessary.

Seriously, you're looking at causing your hair and possibly your scalp some serious damage, but it's all worth it for fashion, right?

I have long thick hair, but I would like it to be thin and flowing. It's bushy and dumb. Any suggestions?

yup it will. perm will straighten it right up

I have long thick hair, but I would like it to be thin and flowing. It's bushy and dumb. Any suggestions?

I think you and I should trade places.

My opinion? Well, you can straighten it or something. Don't chemically treat it! I think there are a bunch of hair styles with long and thick hair.

I have long thick hair, but I would like it to be thin and flowing. It's bushy and dumb. Any suggestions?

You need a good stylist to perfect a cut to remove your "bushiness" and a good pair of thinning shears to take out the thickness.

I have long thick hair, but I would like it to be thin and flowing. It's bushy and dumb. Any suggestions?

go to the hair salon and ask them to "thin out" your hair. they have these special scissors that they use to make your hair thinner and more manegeble. the good thing is that it doesn't take off any length. as for straitening it, yes chemicly straitening it will make it allot straiter. but it sucks because not only does it damage your hair, but you will have to keep on straitening the roots as your hair grows out.

good luck!

I have Super wavy, thick hair. Any suggestions?

Hi! okay I have a suggestion for you first make an appointment at the nearest hair salon and get your hair razer thinned or thinned. This will take away some of the thickness out of your hair and make it much more manageable. Here is a suggestion to help keep the curl lookin' put together!

1.) Buy Alberto V05 Curvacous Curls!

2.) Get your hair wet, wash all the product out.

3.) Add a little Alberto V05 Curvacous Curls ! to your hair.

4.) Get a hair drier with a diffuser attachment and dry your hair until is a little damp.

Voila, Good Luck!

Don't damage it with color or other chemicals, give it lots of moisturizer, and get a trim of one half inch every three months.

How to grow a long %26amp;thick hair?

apply activogalnd on your scalp. i don't know if it's available in your country.

or you may use a horse shampoo. it's only quite expensive.

How to grow a long %26amp;thick hair?

Regaine if you are loosing hair. If not only use baby shampoo or you will loose all your hair.

How to grow a long %26amp;thick hair?

Try the supplement "Letchethin". It helps the hair grow faster and stronger. Available at any store like WalMart or Walgreens in the nutrition section.

Also, eat a well balanced diet. This helps the body have the extra nutirents it needs for soft, shiny and stong hair.

Get regular trims to keep split ends from forming, and refrain from unnatural colors, perms, etc...this will only weaken the hair.

Remember - it grows from the roots out, and is technically "dead material" once it leaves the scalp. So what you put IN to your body is more important than anything you could put ON your hair.

A good deep conditioner never hurts, although too much shampooing can strip the hair of it's natural oils leaving it dry and brittle.

Best of luck to you!

How to grow a long %26amp;thick hair?

Use some good filtered Coconut Oil. And if already using, change it to Mustard Oil. You should also keep in mind what kind of climate you are in. Olive oil is another choice these days if both of these don't work.

Just change the product, is the mantra.

Our body needs each and everything beneficial found in the oils and minerals found on this earth.

Also see if living in Hot and Humid conditions, use hair scarf for protection from direct sunlight, if you are exposing it too much.

How to grow a long %26amp;thick hair?

...shave it with a razor to the scalp (get help of a barber), break a fresh egg (not from poultry), separate the yellow jelly from the white yokel, rub it gently on the bare head, shampoo after 15 minutes. Do often, say, once in two months.

How to grow a long %26amp;thick hair?

1.) Seaweeds, help stimulate the thyroid and give minerals for the proper health of the hair

2.) Spinach is great for the hair, contains lots of minerals,as are all the green vegetables.

3.) Protein your hair is made of protein so make sure you are getting it in either animal or vegetable form such as fish,chicken,beef,legumes,nuts... and cheese.Or protein drinks.

4.) take a good b-vitamin supplement with biotin which increases hair growth.

5.)MSM contains naturally occuring sulfer and will make your hair and nails grow faster.

6.) silica

this combined with a good scalp massage with herbal hair oil will do wonders for your hair. Avoid brushing ur hair when its wet,and use a natural shampoo such as lamas chinese stimulating shampoo or Jason thin to thick.

Is there some shampoo that can change thick hair to fine hair?

you may use a good conditioner after using shampoo.Normally before shampooing your hair, apply a teaspoon of coconut oil all over your hair and scalp giving light massage using your fingertips ,leave for an hour, then take bath.Don't use shampoo daily.Twice a week is enough.Instead you may wash your hair with plain water for the other days if you find no cold problem.

Is there some shampoo that can change thick hair to fine hair?

there isn't really any shampoo that could alter your hair, unless it has some SERIOUS chemicals to thin out your hair. if you have think hair, like me, get it thinned out at a salon. thats what i do, and my hair looks so much healthier and it isn't as think.

Is there some shampoo that can change thick hair to fine hair?

well i dont know why you would want to thin your hair that will happen soon enough, lol,, i dont know of a shampoo, but you can have it thinned with thinning shears and it wont cut through your hair it will just thin it out

Is there some shampoo that can change thick hair to fine hair?

Haven't heard of any. And having fine hair cannot understand why you would want to change yours to fine.

Is there some shampoo that can change thick hair to fine hair?

I don't think there is such a shampoo. there are shampoos and products to smooth thick hair... kind of like volume builders for thin hair...

Is there some shampoo that can change thick hair to fine hair?

I don't think so, but I know how you feel! I have HORRIBLY thick hair and I hate it (especially in the summer). And I swear I shed more than my three damn cats combined! However, to get a thinner and healthier look, I use a straightener. It just flattens your hair and kind of smooths it out. Good luck and try to stay cool in the summer heat!

How to tame frizzy thick hair?

1) Get a hair cut that works w/ your hair's texture. For example: long layers to take out some bulk %26amp; add some definition

http://matrix.com/find_your_hair_style/m...

2) Use a super absorbent hair towel to decrease drying time.

3) Use a wide tooth comb after shampooing %26amp; conditioning to remove tangles. Then use your fingers to form ringlets. Apply a spray on leave in conditioner %26amp; allow to air dry or blow dry with a diffuser.

4) Jojoba oil or Kiehl's Silk Groom help tame hair %26amp; condition it too.

5) Experiment w/ quick hair styles.

ex) Section %26amp; braid your hair. Allow it to dry over night. Remove the braids %26amp; tousle w/ your fingers. Apply a beach spray for a casual look.

Loosely braid your hair %26amp; twist it into a bun. Secure w/ bobby pins.

Make a messy bun or chignon.

How to tame frizzy thick hair?

try geting a perm and flat iron thats what i do

How to tame frizzy thick hair?

Leave in conditioner. It's keeps moisture out of your hair reducing the frizzies.

How to tame frizzy thick hair?

Thick hair is alluring and sexy, and looks absolutely gorgeous on any girl! If you'd like to tame your hair do the following:

Wash your hair, and make sure to use a conditioner. Conditioners and shampoos made for frizzy hair don't seem to work that much better than regular shampoos.

Applying a leave in conditioner will often help tame your frizz, without weighing it down too much or leaving it feeling greasy. Some suggested leave in conditioners: Aveda Brilliant Damage Control, Bumble and bumble leave in conditioner with frizz control, or Aussie Hair Insurance. Similar, and often cheaper products, are sprays made to control synthetic or natural extension or braids. Some examples are Control Wing 3 in OneFormula, or Mane 'n Tail Braid Sheen Spray. Evenly distribute through hair.

Apply a styling product, depending what you want to do with your hair. If you want to air dry your hair, then a light gel, mousse, or pomade will work. Don't use too much - too much gel leaves your hair stiff, too much mousse leaves your hair dry and crunchy, and too much pomade leaves your hair oily. A great product for air drying your hair is Aveda Brilliant Pomades- they come with a humectant for letting your hair dry curly, or anti-humectant if you want your hair to hang straight. Aveda Phomollient styling foam is good for letting your hair dry curly as well (its a mousse), but only if your hair is not very dry.

If you're going to blow dry your hair and you want it curly, use a diffuser on the end of your blowdryer. Flip your head over and scruch your hair, but not too much. Dry until your hair is almost dry, and then let air dry the last bit. This prevents frizziness. Use a mousse or pomade for this.

If you want to blow dry your hair and you want it straight, use a product that helps with this - Avedea Brilliant Anti-Humectant Pomade is a good one for this. Use a big round brush and blow dry your hair in sections, following the brush down through your hair. Don't use a diffuser attachement on your hair dryer for this. If you have frizzy hair, this usually makes your hair even more frizzy, so its best to always follow up by flat ironing your hair, and then locking it in with a spray shine. No need to buy the expensive spray shines; the cheap ones for ethnic hair that come in the huge bottles are just as effective as the expensive brands.

If you'd like to style your hair, it's best to use a product that give you a little hold. A styling lotion is great for this, because it give you light hold without making your hair stiff or dry. Two great ones: Aveda Brilliant Universal Styling Creme, and (aweseome for hot rollers) Isoplus Hot Hot Hot Curler Roller Set Lotion. You could also use a light gel spray for this step as well. Curl your hair in any way you like - if you are using hot rollers wait for them to cool before removing so that the curls will set. Sometimes, when just curling the ends of your hair, you may want to flat iron the top part of your hair to completely remove any frizz from the sections not curled. When finished, set with a hair spray or spray gel.

Tips

If you're in a hurry and don't have time to do anything to your hair after the shower, you can often let your hair partially air dry, and then put it up in a bun. After an hour or two your hair will be mostly dry, and will have dried into some fairly frizz free waves.

If you are shopping in a store that has tester bottles of lotion and notice your hair is frizzy, get a squirt of the tester lotion and apply it to your hands and hair.

If you have gel, but you're in a hurry and have a minimum of 30 minutes in the car: Use gel in your hair and if you want, scrunch or squeeze your hair with your towel (a teeshirt works as well).

If you have some time to lounge around, a great way to air dry your hair is to lay with your head over the edge of a bed- that way it allows air to reach all layers of your hair evenly.

Its a good idea to deep condition your hair at least once a week- a lot of frizz comes from damage to your hair.

Find a good hairdresser than understands your hair. He or she can help you find a haircut that will flatter your face, and help to tame frizz. Remember to be realistic, however, dont get a haircut that requires a lot of maintence if you like to throw your hair in a ponytail most of the time.

If you're completely out of product, you can use a little bit of your conditioner as a leave in conditioner to help you tame your hair. Don't do this too often though, it will eventually leave your hair with a "film" that weights is down and makes it dull.

Some good gels are Aveda Phomollient, which is a styling foam that many people like, L'Oreal Crystal Wax, which is a gel that hardens on hair, which some people don't like, and Herbal Essences carries lots of good gels.

Warnings

Don't use too much product - it will leave your hair looking oily or wet.

Make sure you evenly distribute any product you use - otherwise you could end up with patches that vary from oily to frizzy. A good way to do this is to always apply product to wet hair when possible - then roll your hair between your hands to evenly distribute, and then finally comb through.

some products that don't work very well for some: Alberta VO5 Smoothing Souffle, Pro Vitamin Intensives Curl Therapy, and Loreal Vive Smooth Intense Anti -Frizz Serum.

Every girl looks beautiful with her natural hair and sparkling with confidence with whatever makes her happy. Hope this helps good luck!

How to tame frizzy thick hair?

How to tame frizzy thick hair?

I would say this is the best Q. for me I love doing hair but If you would go to a hair shop they'll tell and get somthing for wild hair ...! thanks come again

How to tame frizzy thick hair?

Apply a leave in condioner that tames frizz Aveda, Garnier Fructis. Do deep conditioning at least once a week usually frizz comes from damage from hair. You might need to get a trim if you have split/dead ends. Some good serums against frizz are Zero Frizz Extra Strength Hair Serum, TIGI Bed Head Spoil Me Defrizzer, Frizz-Ease products. Use moisturizing shampoo and conditioner.

If you are going to scrunch your hair use gel since you have thick hair and hair spray and use a diffuser do not touch your hair until it is completely dry and don't brush!! If you're going to straighten use a good heat protectant that works against heat and frizz and straighten your hair in small sections and wrap in a silk scarf.

Best Curling Irons for Thick Hair...?

I heard the bead head one was good...

has anyone tried this

any other ideas?

how do you make the curls last?

Best Curling Irons for Thick Hair...?

The Titamium curling irons from Sally's are awesome. And they have a 90 day return policy. Use a curling iron glaze before you curl. CeramaSilk has one (also at Sally). Alot of people use curling/marcel waxes, but its awful for your hair, and hell to get out. After curling, Pump-it-Up is pretty awesome. Your hair will NOT mess up.

Best Curling Irons for Thick Hair...?

anything ceramic because they heat up better....mines from like walmart and works soooooooo well haha

Best Curling Irons for Thick Hair...?

I've actually never tried Bed Head curling irons? But I'm fond of their styling products! Honestly, to make your curls last, you need an awesome working spritz... something that's like LIQUID CEMENT when it hits your head! Lol! I suggest using a little product called Pump It Up... you can find it any local store! Spritz on the piece of hair you're about to curl and then spritz some on afterwards. It'll STICK..!! I SWEAR..!! HAHA.

Best Curling Irons for Thick Hair...?

I haven't heard much from Bed Head yet, so for right now I'd say go for a Chi. They have different sizes, and work very efficiently. You can find them at your local Beauty Brands.

Hope this helped, and best of luck to you!

Best Curling Irons for Thick Hair...?

try any ceramic curling iron. At bit more expensive but worth it. Also let the curls cool all the way down, spay then finger comb through.

Best Curling Irons for Thick Hair...?

Use a Marcel irons with the stove it get's hot..

Best Curling Irons for Thick Hair...?

Dandruff occur in long hair or short hair? And do it occur in thick hair most?

Dandruff has very little to do with the length or type of your hair, it's mostly your natural oils that either build up in the hair, or don't. Dandruff is the lack or excess of natural oils. Head and shoulders only works if you have an excess amount of oils.

Dandruff occur in long hair or short hair? And do it occur in thick hair most?

Dandruff doesn't depend on the length of the hair.Poor hygiene, improper diet ,sluggish condition of the scalp caused by poor blood circulation are the main causes of dandruff. More simple remedies for dandruff at http://usefulinfo-dandruff.blogspot.com/

I have thick hair does anyone know if its eligible to grow long??

i have really thick hair but i want to grow it cuz i dont look good with short hair, so if u know if its possible please suggest some ways i can fix my hair in order to grow it longer..

I have thick hair does anyone know if its eligible to grow long??

There is no set way to speed up the time it takes to grow your hair out, but keeping it healthy will help it look better when it gets longer. Deep condition it once a week, get it trimmed every 6-8 weeks. Take a multi vitamin (prenatals have a lot of vitamins that help in hair growth). Hair on average grows 1/4 -1/2 inch a month, so just be patient!

I have thick hair does anyone know if its eligible to grow long??

Your hair will grow long without you doing anything at all, just keep it clean and healthy. I have thick hair, and mine's nearly down to my waist now.

I have thick hair does anyone know if its eligible to grow long??

I have long thick hair. Just have it trimmed every 6 weeks. And condition it alot. That should help speed things up

I have thick hair does anyone know if its eligible to grow long??

I have thick hair does anyone know if its eligible to grow long??

The luster in your hair will depend on what you eat and also on how you treat it. To Know more about your hair http://tipsfromruby-hairgrow.blogspot.co... will help you

I really like scene hair, but i have REALLY poofy/thick hair. How do i get it to look nice?

No, it's called 'scene'

A branch of emo.

Scene hair is crazier than emo hair.

On topic: I have the same problem.

What you could do, is go and buy a product that makes your hair 'shiny' which will also add weight/grease to your hair.

Not so nice to touch, but it looks good.

What I use is called Alternatives by Soft sheen: Oil Sheen Spray.

I really like scene hair, but i have REALLY poofy/thick hair. How do i get it to look nice?

oil it and tie it up in a bun

Thick wavy-ish straight hair...hair products and routine?

What brands of conditioner and shampoo would be good for thick straight/wavy hair?

I use Garnier two-in-one shampoo/conditioner and Dove conditioner together. Lately, though, my hair has been kind of flat and not smooth.

Also, after I shower I put my hair in a towel and leave it like that for about 20 minutes. Then I comb, and when most of my hair is dry I brush. Is this a good routine?

Thick wavy-ish straight hair...hair products and routine?

use VO5 shampoo and conditioner (free me freesa) is made just for that. i have the same hair and after that, it came out silky smooth

Do guys in general like long thick hair or short hair (on women not on you)?

-----I like long hair on a woman, and skirts. I like being able to tell it is a female from any angle and any distance. It is a plus if the hair is not filthy. ---Jim

Do guys in general like long thick hair or short hair (on women not on you)?

I can bet you right now that most of the answers will be long.

Do guys in general like long thick hair or short hair (on women not on you)?

Long hair is boring and out! shorter styles are in. i would love to see more women confident enough to be bald. they could look just as good, just depends on the shape of her head.

Do guys in general like long thick hair or short hair (on women not on you)?

i think girls look hotter with mid length - long hair. short hair can look dykey. but if the girl really suits shorter hair then that's fine.

Do guys in general like long thick hair or short hair (on women not on you)?

It is all personal , some men like it short , some find it nice to get lost in the long hairs of women ;)

Why does my hair fall out so much, i have very thick hair and loads of it, and i eat very healthy. w

Hair naturally sheds. Every hair on our body had a lifespan. It grows, stops, sheds and repeats. Unless your hair has become dramatically thinner or you are seeing balding spots, you have nothing to worry about.

Why does my hair fall out so much, i have very thick hair and loads of it, and i eat very healthy. what is it?

Could be stress, or some kind of disorder.

Why does my hair fall out so much, i have very thick hair and loads of it, and i eat very healthy. what is it?

i do too you lose about 100 hairs a day it's normal

Why does my hair fall out so much, i have very thick hair and loads of it, and i eat very healthy. what is it?

everyone sheds hair everyday...not to worry...when you shed you also grow back....keep eating healthy....

Why does my hair fall out so much, i have very thick hair and loads of it, and i eat very healthy. what is it?

Humans lose an average of 100 hairs per day. Brush your hair with a medium soft brush more often and if you feel you are losing too much go see a Dermatologist. They can help.

Why does my hair fall out so much, i have very thick hair and loads of it, and i eat very healthy. what is it?

it is actually healthy and normalk for hair to fall out. for thick hair, you should lose anywhere from 100-300 strands daily. if you feel your hair losing itsthicness, that's when you should get worried.

Why does my hair fall out so much, i have very thick hair and loads of it, and i eat very healthy. what is it?

We all lose 80 hairs a day I know when I had short hair I barley noticed hair falling out but when it got very long I see it everywhere.

Why does my hair fall out so much, i have very thick hair and loads of it, and i eat very healthy. what is it?

Do you have more hair loss than ususal? FYI: it's normal for your hair to fall out, more will be lost at the beginning of spring (or any season change).

If you are undergoing a stressful situation, you've undertaken a new diet, or you've changed hair products, then you will probably have more hair loss than normal. Don't worry about it!

However, if you are losing more hair than normal and your hair loss doesn't slow down in the next few weeks, it's time to visit a dermatologist and find out what's at the root (ha ha ha) of your problem. Sorry about the joke, I just couldn't help myself.

Why does my hair fall out so much, i have very thick hair and loads of it, and i eat very healthy. what is it?

It is normal to lose hair daily but if u think you are losing too much, try not putting conditioner on your scalp, only on your ends, also very hot water causes for your pores to open and more hair falls may want to try a little cold water, don't wash your hair every day is not good for your natural oils other than that try not to use so many products like hair spray and gel.

I have really short thick hair, would it be a bad idea to get some sort of a perm to try something n

That depends. If your hair is above your chin, you may end up looking like a mushroom. I know because it happened to my cousin. All we could see from behind was poufy hair and long neck. Now, if your hair is past your chin, maybe a body wave wouldn't be so bad. Whatever you do, try it first with a curling iron so that its not permanent.

I have really short thick hair, would it be a bad idea to get some sort of a perm to try something new??

NO PERM! Bad idea!

I have THICK naturally curly hair. I used to keep it so short and choppy and it was a pain in the **** to fix and manage. I've started growing it out and it actually gets easier the longer it gets.

Talk to your stylist, but I think a perm will only make your troubles worse.

I have really short thick hair, would it be a bad idea to get some sort of a perm to try something new??

i dont want to sound mean but short hair with a perm may make you look like a poodle

I have really short thick hair, would it be a bad idea to get some sort of a perm to try something new??

avoid perms at all costs... I would suggest getting a smoothing conditioner like Samy at Target.... its like 4.99.... Your hair will be like silk.... If you still dont like ur hair get some clip in extensions... google if you want to know more..... Good Luck

17 year old male wondering why his bangs are so stringy and thin while the rest of his hair is thick

I'm a 17 year old male, and I've recently grown out my hair to a decent length. My bangs go down to around my eyebrows, a I part them over to one side. They look full when parted to one side, but when they hang down they are really stringy and weak. I was getting my hair cut today and the lady was like "your hair is really thin here". The area was my bangs and the area immediately above them, the hair is really thin. My hair everywhere else is extremely thick and grows like a weed, is this a problem? My dad is bald, does this mean that I'm going to start balding soon or what? Is there any way to avoid this and make my bangs thicker? Thanks a lot!

17 year old male wondering why his bangs are so stringy and thin while the rest of his hair is thick?

What's are 'bangs'?

17 year old male wondering why his bangs are so stringy and thin while the rest of his hair is thick?

Hate to tell you this but it's the beginning of a receeding hair line.

As you get older, your hair line will probably go back even farther.

Do the men on your mother's side of the family have bald spots or are balding? If so, more than likely you will be also.

17 year old male wondering why his bangs are so stringy and thin while the rest of his hair is thick?

Well, if baldness is in your genes, then yeah, there is a really good chance that your hairline is receding. ask your dad when his started. As for treatment, you can find many hair thickeners, such as rogane or something like that at a drugstore.

17 year old male wondering why his bangs are so stringy and thin while the rest of his hair is thick?

its prob cuz u have a receding hair line...if ur mom's dad is or was bald, thenmost likely...u will b 2

Could i still get scene hair even with wavy + thick hair?

ye jst ask ur hairdresser to thin it out using a razor or thinning scissors

Could i still get scene hair even with wavy + thick hair?

dont get scene hair. its just a trend. find out what looks best on you instead of trying to be like everyone else.

Incredibly thick hair?

Can I get a body wave or perm?? It is shoulder length and not layered or thinned out

Incredibly thick hair?

Yes you can perm thick hair.

Make sure they give you a spiral perm and alternate the rod size. Remember that with long hair the weight will pull down on the curls so you will want some smaller size rods mixed in. They will probably have to use two kits. Be prepared to spend about 3 hours total at the salon, between washing your hair, wrapping your hair around the rods, putting the chemicals in your hair, waiting for the permanent to set, rinsing and putting another solution into your hair, waiting again, then having the rods taken out and your hair rinsed. Much easier to take care of. Good Luck.

Incredibly thick hair?

I would suggest you go to a top salon, and get their advice. I too, have thick hair. One time I made the mistake of having a perm, and I looked like a fuzz ball. With a good layered haircut, your hair should be your crowning glory. Trust your hairdresser.

Handle you hair gently. If it tends to tangle, comb through it while wet with a nice dollop of conditioner in it. Use wide tooth combs. Avoid petroleum and mineral oil since they clog hair follicles and stunt growth. Try all natural products. Chemicals interfere with our body functions and cause illness over time. Other that those tips: Learn to love you and your hair the way God made it. He didn't mess up when he made you. Most of us get caught up in trying to be what society tells us is normal, mainstream, or acceptable. We begin to strive to be what the world would like to see in us. Find yourself a Bible and see yourself how God sees you. And p.s. It's OK to want long hair. Your hair will grow about 1/2 inch a month so chill, sit back, and love the journey!

Does the Maxiglide hair straightener really work? I have thick hair and alot of it.Please offer advi

If its possible coudl you send pictures before and after. i read some review sites but you never know if they are the company trying to make the product sell.

Does the Maxiglide hair straightener really work? I have thick hair and alot of it.Please offer advice?

I never heard of it before but if you go to this web site they have a natural straightener that might work.

Does the Maxiglide hair straightener really work? I have thick hair and alot of it.Please offer advice?

What is Maxiglide? I wish there was a way that you could straighten hair without killing it...

Does the Maxiglide hair straightener really work? I have thick hair and alot of it.Please offer advice?

Don't you hate it when people answer your question with a question or not at all? If you don't know the answer to my questions don't answer right? Yahoo Answers is a trip, everyone is dying for those two points!

Maxiglide is simply a 100% ceramic straightener, and it really does work. This straightner is made with ceramic plates, much like the Chi and some other lesser known brands. Other irons, that claim to be made with ceramic plates are actually coated and eventually that coating will chip away and leave you with frizzy hair! Trust me I have many $30 "ceramic irons". They do no work. Do you live anywhere near a simon mall? Your local mall may even be a simon mall and you don't even know it. If so, there are Kiosks in all simon malls where you can actually purchase an aswesome ceramic flat iron for 100 bucks. Depending upon how tight your naturl curls are, you want to get the small iron. Bigger irons are for people with big loose curls. I bought the 1 inch the iron for my tight frizzy curls. Look at my pic, thats me with straight hair pulled back into a bun. Let me know, and I will email you my natural hair pics.

Should you put tracks in your hair if you have thick hair?

WELL...people get tracks for different reasons...lenght, thickness, maintenance, ect...you can get a weave if you want one but it isn't good to glue that stuff in...try braiding your hair nd then sewing the weave in...it is healthier for your hair...that glue will eat your hair up...

I have wavy thick hair thats long. What to do with it?

My hair is curly, thick, and long. It looks pretty when I just leave it curly but I hate it. So, I straighten it EVERY DAY! It looks so pretty. You should try it! It also makes your hair seem softer. If you straighten it make sure you spray some hair protecter on it! You have to protect your hair from the heat or it'll get really damaged.

What is the best hair styling iron for thick hair?

Please only give answers from experience not what u see on a website!

What is the best hair styling iron for thick hair?

the remington wet 2 style straightener works great on me and my hair is pretty thick. The level of heat is adjustable from 1-30 and it is resonably priced. Hope u like!

What is the best hair styling iron for thick hair?

i have very thick and long hair and i use a solia iron. it straightens, curls, and u can flip the ends of your hair with it. if you do a quick job it helps control the "puffiness" of my hair but if you go slowly, layer-by-layer, it works like a charm! i also reccomend chi irons-- they really work, although they are more expensive.

What is the best hair styling iron for thick hair?

I use the MAXIglide. It works sooooo well. In fact, it's different from any old flat iron. It uses straightening pins on the plate to detangle the hair while ironing, thus making hair straighter! It also comes with a backup flat plate. In addition it uses Advanced Steamburst Technology, which gives you the option of using steam to go through a tough part of the hair. You can even use the ridges on the outer part of the straightener to make flips! Here, check out this link. You won't be disappointed. http://www.maxiusbeauty.com/

What is the best hair styling iron for thick hair?

My hair straightener is a ceramic Straight2theMax, it works very well and I usually heat it up to the highest level without damaging my hair. It works great because I have very thick natural hair that won't do a thing if I use chemicals or shampoos. So check out a local salon supply store, or amazon.com has them I bet. Good luck

How do you thin out thick hair by cutting it? Without going to the salon.?

Stop being cheap and go to the salon or you'll end up looking like a rat!

How do you thin out thick hair by cutting it? Without going to the salon.?

i'd suggest you go to a professional and not do it yourself. cutting your own hair can turn out disasterous..its your hair and its there with you everyday so its really good to invest in it.

How do you thin out thick hair by cutting it? Without going to the salon.?

when you find out, let me know! your hair can't be thicker than mine! lol!! i started going to the salon to let them handle it. it's too much to deal with on my own. maybe you just gotta face the facts!

How do you thin out thick hair by cutting it? Without going to the salon.?

Getting a layered haircut will help with the thickness. DON'T try it at home...just go to the salon.

How do you thin out thick hair by cutting it? Without going to the salon.?

You can buy "thinning shears" at any discount store. Just a few dollars.

Just twist about a 1/4 square section of hair and then "cut" it in two or three places with the shears. That is for short hair.

If your hair is long, I wouldn't even try to thin it cause it will be "flyaway." You can have it layered by wetting it thoroughly and cutting it with a razor. BE CAREFUL!

How do you thin out thick hair by cutting it? Without going to the salon.?

please don't try to do it yourself. Go to a professional and ask them to use a razor to cut your hair. using a razor, helps to thin out very thick hair...

How to get my long and thick hair back naturally, help me plz?

I have been researching hair growth methods and people have had incredible hair growth results with some of these shampoos and conditioners.

There are also vitamins you can take, as well as essential oils that can be massaged into your scalp.

In my desperation, I have ordered a lot of these methods to try, lol! ;)

It hasn't been enough time to tell you of my own personal results, but I found the best price for high quality ingredient hair growth shampoo and conditioners from Egyptian Goddess Hair Growth Shampoo and hair care system that uses the same ingredients that are proven to stimulate and quicken hair growth, (b-vitamins, proteins, essential oils, and botanical extracts).

By far the best deal out there, and when I am through using the pricier items I have already ordered, I will be using them too!!

People say that there is nothing that you can do to stimulate/quicken hair growth, but the truth is that by using the store bought shampoos and conditioners, processing hair with hair color, and other products that contain chemicals and non natural ingredients, all you are doing is clogging your hair follicles with man-made toxins that inhibit and slow hair growth.

Seriously, read the labels of all the products you are currently using on your scalp and hair and see how many chemicals are included!! All that stuff SLOWS hair growth.

So the best thing to do is use ALL NATURAL HERBAL shampoos and conditioners, especially the ones that contain ingredients proven to aide in faster hair growth.

The Egyptian Goddess Hair Growth Shampoo costs $5.98 for 16 fluid ounces, and contains the same ingredients as a 12 fluid ounce shampoo I bought for $35.99.

So, I hope you can take advantage of my research, save your $, and hopefully I can assist you in your quest for long hair!! :)

If you've got a lot of money to spend there are more expensive products, a google search on hair growth shampoo/ methods will bring them all up %26amp; you can determine which seems best for you.

I also bought GNC Nourishair vitamins to ensure proper internal nutritional needs for fast growing hair, pretty economical and good for skin and nails too!

Good luck!

Length: You'll have to wait for it to grow. There is no way to increase growth rate.

As for the thickness: Use a good volumising shampoo and conditioner to keep it healthy. It will grow as thick as it was before and will be in good, shiny condition.

I have very cource and thick hair is there something uut there to make hair thinner and able to mana

Texturizer keeps your hair curly %26amp; manageable. Perm straightens your hair if it's curly ( and curls hair if it's straight ). ^_^

I have very cource and thick hair is there something uut there to make hair thinner and able to manage?

iono..ive always wanted my hair thick!..i have reall really thin hair..

I have very cource and thick hair is there something uut there to make hair thinner and able to manage?

you could try going to a stylist and asking that stylist to thin it out...they use a razor and layer it and make it look less thick and for the course...i dunno

I have very cource and thick hair is there something uut there to make hair thinner and able to manage?

I have the same probabley! What I am going to do to fix it is get layers and it will be so much better!

I have very cource and thick hair is there something uut there to make hair thinner and able to manage?

wash it every day..get it thinned out at a stylist...and be sure to brush it out good (flip your hair over and brush it then flip it back over and brush the top)

I have very cource and thick hair is there something uut there to make hair thinner and able to manage?

Try using a gentle shampoo made for smoothing the hair(Pureology smoothing shampoo, conditioner , and smooting balm are very good. Use them sparingly as they are very concentrated.) Use cool or lukewarm water and rinse well. towel blot well and apply the conditioner from the ends to the scalp and leave it on with a shower cap for ten to twenty minutes. Rinse well and apply about a dime size of the smoothing balm into the palms of you hane and distribute it evenly through the hair. If you use a blow dryer, startin sections from the bottom of the head pointing the blow dryer in a downward direction. work up the head in one inch sections, occasionally using coolair on the pre dried hair , this will close the cuticle and will help to reduce the fullness. Also proper shaping of the hair is important. Do not let someone use thinning shears on your hair as it is better to have agood cut.Good luck and if you have any questions, please feel free to ask me, as this is my profession.

I have very cource and thick hair is there something uut there to make hair thinner and able to manage?

so do i..and it sucked until i used finesse volume.. get the volume shampoo and conditioner..its for thick haired people such as me and u..and trust me..its so effective.. i love it.. my hair is so managable right now. i love it

stop eating that much,,you have even gotten your hair fat!!

I have really thick hair and its up to my shoulders but i want to cut it shorter,is it a good idea?

the wonderful thing about hair is that it grows back. I would start by getting a cut thats a little longer if your unsure. That way it's not too short or a major shock to the system. If you feel the need to go super short, have a blast. Enjoy it either way.

I have really thick hair and its up to my shoulders but i want to cut it shorter,is it a good idea?

no. you'll end up with a fro.

I have really thick hair and its up to my shoulders but i want to cut it shorter,is it a good idea?

Sure, my mom had thick hair and always wore it short. She said it was more comfortable.

I have really thick hair and its up to my shoulders but i want to cut it shorter,is it a good idea?

if you can, i think you should get it layered. it will make your hair a little thinner and easier to manage.

閳?br>I have really thick hair and its up to my shoulders but i want to cut it shorter,is it a good idea?

no

I have really thick hair and its up to my shoulders but i want to cut it shorter,is it a good idea?

I have uber-thick hair and my best cut ever was when I got a Natalie Portman inspired Pixie Cut. Just ask the stylist to cut your hair with a razor to thin it out.

I have really thick hair and its up to my shoulders but i want to cut it shorter,is it a good idea?

i've made this mistake having thick hair also. you need long hair to weigh it down. Short isn't a good idea for thick hair. buy a really good straightener to flatten your hair so that it doesn't seem like it's so much. believe it or not, shorter thick hair is harder to manage than longer thick hair.

I have really thick hair and its up to my shoulders but i want to cut it shorter,is it a good idea?

i think that would look good. if you ask a stylist i'm sure they have techniques for "thinning" hair..i wouldn't leave it thick, or if you want to go short, go REALLY short.

I have really thick hair and its up to my shoulders but i want to cut it shorter,is it a good idea?

i don't see why not. they can always thin your hair out for you if you think it'll be too full that way :) good luck!

I have really thick hair and its up to my shoulders but i want to cut it shorter,is it a good idea?

Yes, definitely. I have very thick hair and getting it cut short was great. It takes less time to do my hair, there's less heavy weight, and no more dry split ends. It's great. Just make sure you get lots of layers and texture and it will not turn into an afro. Sometimes when I go into the hair salon I have them thin my hair, which helps a lot too. Good luck!

I have really thick hair and its up to my shoulders but i want to cut it shorter,is it a good idea?

um let it grow to maybe your bust line. then get it thinned and layered thats what i did and it looks great. i have really thick hair to. when they thinned it, it looked like there was as much hair on the floor as there was on my head. it wont look that much different but it will look better. so much easier to dry, style, etc. if its brown maybe get some blond streaks. not to much just a little and it will look amazing

I have really thick hair and its up to my shoulders but i want to cut it shorter,is it a good idea?

really really thick hair actually looks best if it is either really short or really long...because short helps to get rid of the puffiness and long weighs it down..med length makes it appear thicker and puffier

I have really thick hair and its up to my shoulders but i want to cut it shorter,is it a good idea?

keep it growing long hair is beautiful but if you cut it short you should get a bob

I have really thick hair and its up to my shoulders but i want to cut it shorter,is it a good idea?

Thin it out some, and layer it. Long hair can be hott, but there is a very limited amount of things you can do with it. Personally I dig chicks with short hair, so I think It would be alright. Then again I dont really know you, but if it something you think would work, go for it.

I'd say something that comes out a little in the front and layered in the back, BUT ABSOLUTELY NO BANGS! You can use something like "Bedhead" or something to give it shape. But I guess you would have to decide if you are punk, emo, prep, etc.

(I dated a punk girl, and she had the spiky thing going on, but now my gf is a prep, and she is thinking about getting her hair cut, so we will see how that goes. Hers is way long but thin... not quite the same thing, but we pretty much had this same conversation, so I just regurgitated it for you. lol. hope it helps)

I have really thick hair and its up to my shoulders but i want to cut it shorter,is it a good idea?

you shouldnt i did that and i hated it till the last 2 months of school to like it

i was like a poodle!!!

I have really thick hair and its up to my shoulders but i want to cut it shorter,is it a good idea?

hi, i too have thick hair and i do think its OK do cut it shorter, when i was younger my hair was really short, but i like it long now....but its OK to cut it, just make sure it looks cute and you like it!!!! hope that helps

I have really thick hair and its up to my shoulders but i want to cut it shorter,is it a good idea?

I wouldn't necessarily cut it shorter but get some layers put in it, will thin it out so it's easier to manage and it will look hot too.

I have really thick hair and its up to my shoulders but i want to cut it shorter,is it a good idea?

a friend of mine tried that, and im not trying to discourage you, but it made her face look wide

I have long thick hair and am wondering how to do it for my July wedding?

i think a lose side ponytail with two lose bits at da front would look rly nice.

I have long thick hair and am wondering how to do it for my July wedding?

It all depends on the cut of the dress.

You can try pulling up the sides in different strands, sort of like a weave of hair, but not tight, and bring them to the back. Then add the curls. If you have long hair, i don't suggest real tight curls either because it will distract from the dress. It's always about the dress. There are so many things you can do with long hair. Look at bride magazines for free at the store and get ideas from there. You can mix and match some of looks. Congrats on your wedding. It's all about you, so have fun with it.

I have long thick hair and am wondering how to do it for my July wedding?

Don't forget to do a "test run" before the actual day.

Since you're lucky enough to have thick hair, the necessity of a hairstyle to hold the veil in doesn't seem to be an issue.

Why not just wear it down - with soft, sexy curls?

Katharine McPhee got her soft, sexy curls using rag rollers (or so the wesite says) - and you can make your own if you don't have any.

Whether you do it yourself or go to the salon, don't forget that the style will need to look good for several hours (so don't forget hair product that will hold without being stiff and look horrible when combing out) and that you will need to be comfortable.

Congratulations and happy wedding!

I have long thick hair and am wondering how to do it for my July wedding?

i remember for my 6months with my boyfriend my sister did my entire head in curls. i must say i looked not bad lol and usually i hate the way i look. and i have the same hair shape too i mean like long very thick hair and wavy.. i think your entire head curls and then part your hair to one side so i guess it gives the illusion that you have bangs to the side.. if you know what i mean... hope you do my style.

CONGRATS!

I have really thick hair that is hard to curl. ..Any suggestions on products to use before and after

use mousse before you curl and hairspray afterward.

I have really thick hair that is hard to curl. ..Any suggestions on products to use before and after curling?

I have the exact same problem. I have thick hair and it's really long and will not stay curled if I used a curling iron. So I do the old fashion way! RAG CURLS! It works great the the curls look really good!!! After I take them out I use A LOT of hair spray. Trust me rag curls is the way to go. Not to mention it doesn't damage the hair! HERE'S A SITE:

I have curly thick hair. how can i get it 2 do the emo choppy look?

Okay, whatever you do DO NOT permanently straighten your hair. It's so bad for you. My mom and I did that to our hair. Mine was fried and her hair started to break off. It was horrible. But anyways. You will defintaely have to layer your hair like crazy. Make it piecy. Just tell the hairstylist and they'll know what to do. But you will have to straighten it every day to get the "emo" look and that can be really bad for your hair also so make sure you use a Heat Defense Spray and use a good conditioner that retains moisture

I have curly thick hair. how can i get it 2 do the emo choppy look?

You will have to straighten it and get it cut in that style.

You can look up a lot of walkthroughs or whatever you want to call them on google if you just search for it. Even on youtube.

I have curly thick hair. how can i get it 2 do the emo choppy look?

straighten it with a straightening iron and straightening products, by the way, i'm straight lol. get about 1/3 of it with blonde highlights. have some crazy looking style like w/ one side longer than the other or just different... idk how they do that.

I have curly thick hair. how can i get it 2 do the emo choppy look?

you might need to get it permanently straightened %26amp; thined out.

I have curly thick hair. how can i get it 2 do the emo choppy look?
