I have natural straight, thick hair. i want curls!?

how can i get it curly without an iron or putting a lot of gell in it? oh yea and getting a perm is NOT an option

You will have to use a iron or blow dryer, may some electric rollers.Without gel or hairspray the curls won't last.

A good old set would do OK, especially if yoy spray the towel dried hair with set lotion before.. Dry up with medium heat... Cool before undoin' the set.. Style!! Apply some gloss on the ends, adds shine and prevents split ends too...

There is a shampoo you can buy that adds curls. But trust me if you had curly hair you would want straight hair. All the things people do to their hair damages it, whether it is a perm, coloring, curling iron, even putting it in a pony tail is hard on it. Then in the later years they are like I wish my hair was in better condition.
