washing it too much can give you a dry scalp. you shoud wash it 2 or 3 times a week. or just wash it every 2 days.

You should wash it good every day, but use a good conditioner to keep it from getting too dry.

It depends if you're using styling products or not. If you are then you definitely need to wash that stuff out every day. Also if you like to swim you should use a gentle shampoo and a strong conditioner after you've finished.

It depends on how oily it gets. I have hair down to my butt, and it's thick. I wash mine every 2-3 days, depending on how oily my scalp gets. I heard that washing the hair everyday is not good for it. Not washing it enough, the oil can lead to bad tangles.
