A really good conditioner, comb with wide apart teeth, comb conditioner through, and DON'T rub hair with towel.

i used to used that tangle-free hair stuff you spray in your hair after you take a shower, and its by the little kids' shampoo.

When you are in the shower use a conditioner that is made for thick hair. I have insanely thick hair and use Tresseme for Dry hair, use a wide tooth comb and gently work out the tangles. Make sure it is wide tooth because your hair is very fragile when it is wet and can break more easily. Also a leave in conditioner is great for after the shower to spray in and comb through.

It is a pain in the butt, ain't it...LOL. I use a conditioner after my shampoo, then Aussie 3 minute miracle left on for about 5 minutes, Aussie leave in conditioner, and a frizz/shine serum. It sounds like a lot but it works. Even helps me after swimming!

use a detangling spray after conditioning, alternatively a moisturising spray like Redken's Clear moisture polish prep, my mums salon sells it its amazing. (www.reken.com) the worst thing to do is keep pulling and snagging your hair, be patient and work with it and it'll love you for it :-D

When you wash your hair don't comb your hair with a brush, use a wide tooth comb. Second, use extra conditioner for those tangles. You can even try a spray conditioner to help detangle your hair. Also, when you comb your hair, instead of starting on the top, comb your hair on the bottoms first, working your way up to the top. This way when your hair is tangled you won't break it as much. I use Paul Mitchell's detangler. Put it on and comb through. Then rinse. I use to use from the baby section, Johnson's detangler for kids. It works good too

Conditioner really REALLY helps.

Also, you should brush your hair and tie it up before you go to bed. hair can get pretty tangled overnight.

A good conditioner or detangler, a wide tooth comb and don't rub it a lot when wash your hair instead sort of blot it and wrap it in a towel for a bit. Also when sleeping if you put it in a loose braid or even a pony tail will help if you don't like to have to wash your hair every day
