have a good blow dryer and a great flat iron. I have these curling Irons that are 1 1/2 inches called bumper irons and they work great to straighten my hair and give it a slight curl. but making sure that your hair is dried well will help it to not frizz and will make styling easier.

i would recommend getting layers, I had thick hair too and it took me 3 haircuts to thin my hair. use a curling iron and use hairspray or use a flat iron to straighten out your hair and use volumnizing hairspray ;)

i got thick hair too, its a real pain to straighten. but get a wide ceramic straightner, and pull your hair up in sections, the more sections, the easier it is to striaghten. It might take a while, but it'll look good when its done. Same thing with curling it, do it in sections, it takes longer, but the finished product will be cute. After doing it for awhile it'll get easier and it will take less time. experiment with it before you do it for real and good luck! : )

Yeah be happy you are not bald if you are a man or a woman. Thick hair is good. Work with what every you have. Go to a professional salon and have them do it. Do not do this yourself. My BF has thick hair and he is upset because it has some gray. I just tell him to be happy he has hair. I think he is. I think he is upset to have gray too young, but some men are getting bald very very young. I could not believe it when I friend was dating a guy in college who was going bald already.
